ABOUT BDEF

For decades, the Bluff Dale Independent School District operated as a K-8th grade, single campus, district that partnered with neighboring school districs to accommodate students for their 9-12th grade high school years. In 2018, a bond was passed by the community to support the expansion of the district by adding a secondary building to establish a high school with the desire to welcome and keep students in the Bluff Dale school district for their entire K-12 academic experience.

As expected, the successful establishment of the Bluff Dale High School has grown the student body significantly and has attracted families from larger cities who seek smaller class sizes, dedicated teachers and a hometown atmosphere. While the positive growth of the school has helped to meet the needs of our district families, it has also highlighted the needs that remain and where additional support is required. A growing district also means a growing student body which lends to a greater need for modern classroom equipment, enriching experiences, academic advancement, relevant career and technical electives, post-graduate scholarship opportunities and more.

Established in 2024, The Bluff Dale Education Foundation was formed to help meet the ongoing needs of The Bluff Dale Independent School District through supportive partnerships with individual donors, corporate sponsors and grant-affiliated opportunities. It is our desire to meet these needs in any way that we can to ensure the current and future success of the students, teachers, administrators, staff and community that are part of the BDISD family.
